The Quality of Mahdiship Socialization

Abstract:
Socialization is a process by which a person learns thoughts, beliefs, values, patterns and criteria of his/ her society. Socialization is an interdisciplinary subject that has applications in different fields. One of his applications is the real of religion. Religious socialization too is a process by which members of society are become familiarized with and learn religious beliefs, practices, duties, rites, ceremonies, rituals, values, norms and symbols of their society and cause transmission of religious culture from one generation to the other generation.
The aim of this research is to establish Mahdiship doctrine and show its transmission ways from one generation to the other.
The main findings of the study are types of Mahdiship socialization that can have two kinds: direct, evident and formal learning and transmission, and indirect and informal learning and transmission. The other findings of the research are elements contributing in Mahdiship socialization that are the family institution, the education institution, the media institution, and the religion institution.
