Mapping the structure of scientific collaboration networks in basic medical sciences in the Science Citation Index during 1996 to 2013

This study aimed to determine the level of Iranian cooperation and scientific cooperation network structure analysis Basic Medical Sciences, Science Citation base from 1996 to 2013 was conducted.
The study, a bibliometric methods and indicators with the help of network analysis and study population consisted of 1040 articles published in the fields of stem cells, molecular medicine and bioinformatics subfields of Basic Medical Sciences and the priorities of Science in document comprehensive scientific map is.
Results showed that inter-agency cooperation in the area of ​​94/23 percent, 02/52 percent external cooperation and international cooperation 23.8 percent. The findings in the analysis of scientific collaboration networks, for network density number 018/0, 831/0 equivalent network clustering coefficient, average distance of 334/3 cooperation networks and network diameter and index components 9 partner network of basic medical sciences 24 component is calculated. Results for centrality indices (chopped), at the center of the network of 346/2 per cent, equivalent to 69/31% and the core network bainite closeness centrality index vector index networking equivalent of 522/3 and 18/85%, respectively.
The result of the cooperation network in the field of medical science is not enough consistency and adequate communication and scientific collaboration between researchers there.
