Reviewing the forecast of the Quran and hadith about the Mahdi and the Messiah, consensus or confrontation?

According to Islamic texts and the teachings and forecasts, Imam Mahdi and his appearance coincides with the return of the Jesus Christ. Jesus descends from heaven at the time of reappearance of Imam Mahdi and pledges allegiance to Imam Mahdi and helps and keeps companionship with him and combats historical biases and distortions of Christianity and brings Christ and His followers in prayer, following Imam Mahdi and guides Christians toward Islam and fight the enemies of Imam Mahdi. This is, by far a positive interaction and cooperative account of Christ and Mahdi relationship.
