The effect of investment on economic growth in Iran's road transport sector using neoclassical growth model

Road transport as one of the factors of affecting economic, Displacement of goods and passengers, areas of access to facilities and national welfare increases and Investment in this sector as a key factor, determining a critical role in the road transport sector is growing. Therefore, the transitional capital of the department of road transport and the changes is important in this section and Understanding of the quantitative and qualitative, decision-making and planning in the road transport sector in the macro and micro levels, is important.
The objective of this paper is analysis of investment on economic growth in Iran's road transport sector for this purpose, the criteria used Incremental capital output ratio and explaining for road transport sector in the period 1389-1353, Incremental capital output ratio is calculated. The neoclassical growth model, investigated the effect of investment on economic growth in Iran's road transport sector.
According to the research findings, if a percent Increase the investments made in the road transport sector on GDP, the value added rate will grow % 0.213 and increasing in rates of labor growth in Road Transportation will result in increased growth rate of value added in road transport to 0.389. Also, a percent increase of energy consumption in road transport and export of crude oil Road transport sector's growth rate increased of 0.157 and 0.383percent & Dummy variable for war period has a negative effect.
