Effects of MDOM Techniques Using Functional Values in Economical Evaluation (Case Study: Chamran-Jalal Al Ahmad Interchange Design)

Seeing that increase of population and transportation in metropolitans¡ urban needs have been growing dramatically. In general¡ due to statistical and variation essence of traffics¡ needs are also changed during the time. Therefore¡ to achieve long-term success in urban design it needs to strongly consider economical aspects besides compatibility and efficiency of designs. Because of such complexity¡ Multi-Objective Decision Making (MODM) methods implemented to assist decision makers in making deliberate choice. The main purpose of this paper is presenting the effects of MODM Techniques in economical evaluation of urban projects using functional values. Results show that¡ MODM methods look efficient in project’s economical evaluation perfectly. By using these methods in a case study¡ number of desired choices and its functional values content are increased significantly. It also creates practical possibility for decision makers to successfully combine and categorize alternatives for more preferred results.
