Structural Flaws of the Theory of Rationality and Spirituality

Abstract:
The theory of rationality and spirituality tries to solve human's pains and create calmness for him/her by the connection between rationality and spirituality; this has been [in fact] religion's aim but they believe it to be unsuccessful – because of its unawareness of human's main pains nowadays and the solutions for it - and consider spirituality a good replacement for it in the present time. This approach should have a correct frame and structure, like all other theories, and due to the theorizer's stress on rationality – including verbal rationality - it should have a rational and consistent structure without any ambiguity; yet this expectation is not fulfilled and in many cases it has flaws and vagueness. The concepts of rationality, spirituality and pain which are the most important concepts of this theory do not have a clear definition or are ambiguous and their different aspects are not explained or we encounter inconsistent definitions in the theory. Some of the main claims of this theory are incomplete or are not proved and most importantly, they are in contradiction with other claims mentioned in the theory. All these problems have created a serious challenge for this theory.
