The paper begins with an overview of the nature and likely impacts of climate change on the worlds shorelines and islands and a consideration of the types of maritime legal practices that are likely to be affected by such changes. This paper is followed answer the question that of which parts of the globe are likely to face the greatest legal challenges resulting from sea-level rise.
