The study of English Educational Needs of Students Studying in Isfahan University of Medical Sciences: Student's perspective

The emergence of ever-growing need for the global demand of English for Specific Purposes (ESP). The researcher investigated the study of english educational needs of students studying in isfahan university of medical sciences: student's perspective.
The population of this applied descriptive survey included the students of the faculty of Management and Medical Informatics (82) who had passed their English courses and the graduates (32). Both groups were selected randomly. Data collection instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity and reliability had been confirmed. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics tests.
Totally, the mean of English educational needs from the student's viewpoints (71.8±10.6) was meaningfully (P Value The findings revealed that the student's needs and the employee's needs had overlap to some extent. Student's needs in the related fields of study were not limited to reading comprehension and the students in different fields of study also mentioned listening, writing and speaking skills as their priorities.
