Open design with emphasis on the social development of urban parks (Case study: Mahabad city parks)

Tendency to the mechanized life, the widespread presence of various means of transportation and the change of city image due to the dominance of vehicles in urban areas, the segregation of people from public spaces, neglecting of social cultural values and the identity values which is hidden in the public spaces, inattention to the maintenance and improvement of community life in the former decades has led some public spaces to lose their importance and role in different urban scales. Creation of public spaces at different urban scales in recent decades has been an attempt to meet the needs of the human community to the public spaces. The presence of people in these spaces leads to the sociability of public spaces which is a factor for space success. Now, similar scales, lack of criteria for success of public spaces and lack of criteria for sociability of space have lead to emptiness and rejection. In this viewpoint the identification of the creation and promotion of sociability in public spaces is necessary to prevent the falling off public spaces at different scales. Spaces and public areas one of the essential elements of everyday urban life and the most important cities are, The Urban Parks as an important part of public spaces and urban representation of modern life, the environment for pleasure, recreation, leisure, social life and culture, thoughts, views, opinions and comments. In modern times by increasing individualism, social functioning destroyed many of the city's public spaces, including gardens, Thus, according to the physical environment of parks as a vehicle to recover the lost proximity of humans, in order to get closer to each other and to compensate them lost part of social interaction is more important. This study aimed to identify effective social aspects of urban gardens,Plans to adjustment of the conditions of physical and semantic urban park environment based on the needs and demands of space users, Park turned out to be sociable atmosphere. Therefore, after reviewing records in the section theoretical basis, by extracting effective social indicators of the survey were evaluated in the study area. In the poll respondents randomly, and 384 were selected. Data were analyzed using statistical software spss and meaningful relationships between variables involved in socialization, were concluded.
