Analysis on the Role of Practice in Consolidation of Faith From the Perspective of Imam Ali (AS)

Since there are disagreements among the theologians of different Islamic sects on the relationship between faith and the practice, in this paper, the type of relationships and their impact on each other, and the role of good deeds in consolidation of faith according to Imam Ali (AS) has been examined. Delves into discovering this relationship will have a special role to play in explaining the nature of faith. For him, faith is a matter of gradation. Some traditions emphasize in practice, refers to the act to gain superior grades of faith and spiritual and worldly happiness of believers. Two kinds of conceptual and physical relationship between action and faith is imagined. One has considered action as a part of faith while the other which believes that is not a part of faith daresay the relationship is objectively based on foreign correlation. After that, the criteria for evaluation of faith, has been investigated. Imam solutions in which causes doing acts to consolidate of faith in the human heart, is the other issues which is raised in this research. Achievement of this article, is a review and a clear view from his perspective that faith is not only an epistemological or psychological truth, but faith is conversion with knowledge, knowing by heart, acknowledgment by tongue and acting by the organs of the body.
