Hz. al-'Abbas's Character in the Infallible Imam's Depictions

Abstract:
Imam al-Husayn clarified the sheer divide between authentic Islam and the fake sect represented by the Umayyads. In this epoch-making clarification, Hz. al-`Abbas played a key and decisive role. Throughout his 34 years of life, he took significant lessons from his father, Imam `Ali as well as his Infallible step-brothers such that he always defended the line of imamate. Such praiseworthy remarks abound in his depictions.
