Studying the Negligence in the Transmission of Traditions of the Signs of Appearance with an Emphasis on the Book of " Me atān va Khamsoun Alamah"

Since the signs of the appearance have a special and effective place in the system of messianic gnostic knowledge¡ it has always been the subject of attention and attempt and the mass of traditions’ transference in this regard is a proof for it. However¡ significant damages have been directed to this issue due to the great number of transference that the lack of serious attention to the validity of these reports and negligence in them is the most prominent of all. Fundamental criticism of the books¡ especially the contemporary works which are organized based on this view¡ can have a prominent role in demonstrating the areas of deviations and damages. One of the contemporary writings in this area is the book of “Me’atān va Khamsoun Alamah Hattā Zohour al-Imam al-Mahdi” witten by Seyyed Muhammad Ali Tabataba’ee Hasani. The aim of this paper is to investigate the above mentioned book in terms of verisimilitude and trustworthiness in the transference and interpretation of some of the views and comparisons with an analytical-critical method.
The result is the writer not only has combined the valid and invalid traditions¡ but also has he clearly determined the referent for some of the signs. Although he has tried to present an acceptable face of his work¡ willingly or unwillingly he has been trapped by the distortion¡ alternation and even forging.
