Proposing a model for effective indicators of training in public universities of Hamadan province

Abstract:
Evaluate the effectiveness has an important place in ensuring the quality of education in advancing the goals and mission of universities but however valid indicators and coordinated variables are unavailable and management of higher education institutions is suffering from the lack of understanding of the proper functioning; so the aim of this research has been proposing a model for effectiveness indexes of governmental universities of Hamadan. Statistical population of this study consisted of all students, faculty and graduates of public universities in Hamedan province. Participants are 863 people (students, faculty, and alumni) who were selected by using stratified random sampling. Research tools have been a self-made questionnaires for students, alumni and faculty members that have been applyed after verifying the validity and reliability of tool. Obtained data were examined by using F, T univariate and factor analysis. The obtained results showed that 1. four main input indexes (students, human resources, material and application), five main process indexes (being-trageted, educational design, classroom atmosphere, learning processes and controls and evaluation) and four key output indexes (research, social, educational and economic) were confirmed. 2.The results show a relatively favorable status of input and output indicators and also show desirable status of process indicators. 3. There aren’t any meaningful differences between average opinions of groups about inputs and educational processes but among opinions of satistical samples about output indexes and reaearch, social and educational dimentions with the exception of economic index, there are meaningful differences. 4. There are no significant differences among average of sample opinions by gender, although with the exception of being targeted element.
