An Analysis of the Criterion Laid out for Weapon Deal Prohibition with the Religious Opponents

Abstract:
A considerable portion of the available propositions on the different chapters of Shīa Jurisprudence has assigned the bound's practical duties toward the religious opponents. Selling weapons to Sunnīs who are considered as a large group of Imāmī Shīa opponents is among the jurisprudential propositions which has been discussed under unlawful trades. Selling weapons to the foes of religion is considered unlawful and forbidden. Attributing the literal concept of "Foes of Religion" to Sunnīs, most of Imāmī Jurists have considered selling weapons to them forbidden and unlawful, given some special circumstance fulfilled. As mentioned under the lawfulness and unlawfulness of selling weapons to Sunnīs in jurisprudential precepts, this research attempts to analyze the laid out criterion for the unlawfulness of this issue. The results of the analyses proved that the opposing ideology of Sunnis to Shia has nothing to do with the unlawfulness of selling weapons to them and the unlawfulness criterion matters in the time of hostility, clashes, and the rebellion's action to initiate a war against Shīa.
