Collection and evaluation of morphological diversity among some Allium species from khorasan

In this study the Allium species were collected from different regions of Khorasan, and in Research Center for Plant Sciences of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, in the randomized complete block planting and after the establishment of the species, 29 qualitative and 13 quantitative traits were studied during the growth duration from 2012 to 2014. According to the results, there is a significant variati on between the studied traits including scape length, number of leaf, flower color, diameter of in florescences, etc. between the examined genotypes, which provides the possibility to choice plants with desirable traits. On the other hand, the results of simple correlation analys is showed a significant correlation between characteristics in most cases. Factor analysis was used to identify the most important factors affecting these paration of genotypes in this study, and according to the results five main factors could justify 91.62% of the total variance. Some characters were located in the first factor group such as the scape diameter, in florescence diameter, peduncle length, flower shape, stamens length, diameter and length of the ovary and the style.
