The Effectiveness of Training the Personality Enneagram Theory Concepts on Criteria of Spouse Selection and Marital Attitude, of Single Girls

The basise of the socity is established on the family foundation. However, marriage is a complex and challenging problem. This study was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of training the enneagram concepts on criteria of selecting spouse and attitude toward marriage of single grils.

this study was quasi-experimentsl with pretest' posttest and control group. The target population included all third grade high school female students in the district 14 Tehran, The academic in year 2015-2016. The method Multi-stage cluster sampling was chosen two schools from the region. Finally, 30 students were selected and divided randomly into two control and experimental groups. For data collection Preference Critaria of Spouse Selection Inventory (PCSSI) and of Marital Attitude Scale (MAS) was used. After the test, concepts of enneagram thoery were offered to experimental group in 10 sessions, 90 minutes through once session per week. For Analyzed, data used analysis of covariance and data utilized by the software SPSS22.

The results showed that the Enneagram of Personality concepts on general attitude and cynical attitude to marriage and the general criteria, process and content of spouse selection was effective for girls (P0.05).

According to the results, offered and trained concepts of enneagram effective on marital attitude and critaria of spouse selection.
