Re-thinking Dr Shariati, an approach to moral interpretation of the art of waiting

Dr Shariati, relying on ideological interpretation of religion, has emphasized seeking the religious teachings and in the realm of this worldly teaching of religion, considers the benefits of seeking a life full with dignity with anti-oppression tendency. In this sense, religion has been translated into regulations to combat filth and access to justice as an objective measure of legitimacy or essentially seen as a theological system. According to this view, the art should be stepping into the optimal path of religion or optimal to religion, and so it often become an educational struggle and thus it finally turns the artist into purposefully awaken and make aware the audience, and not just focusing the lyrics onto "what does not exist". Obviously, in modern-day art as the most popular art is worthy to direct the awareness of people to the right path and satisfy on a broader scale the goals of movement of religious and religio-political intellectuals beyond the traditional world. However, the distinction between religion and art should also be attended, especially that the emphasis on the art just as a tool damage has its own damages as an attitude to art. This has then revealed some shortcomings of the art - religion thought proposed by Shariati with its sometimes tragic consequences. In addition to the Islamic and sociological attitude of Shariati towards art, his introspective outlook _ which is evident in the works called Kaviryat, can be novel theme which recurs in an interpretation of religious thought, and art, and provide a perspective on the challenges facing his attitude. In this paper, we call this perspective as "post-ideological" approach. In the end, the conclusion is that according to post-ideological approach, the art of Waiting for the promised gains a deeper semantic artistic, moral and even religious than before.
