The Challenges Involved in Development of Transgenic Crops Technology from the Perspective of Inequality and the Policy-making to Overcome these Challenges

The emergence and development of transgenic crops have been one of the most challenging issues in the development of new agricultural technologies. The challenges include safety, health and environmental challenges and economic equality among the different strata of society. In this paper, first, the challenges involved in development of transgenic plants technology from the perspective of creating or increasing inequality among the strata of farmers are discussed and finally the policies to overcome these challenges in the developing countries are studied.
