The Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence And Spiritual Intelligence Among Students Of Imam Khomeini Marine Science University Of Nowshahr

This study was conducted to find the relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence among Students of Imam Khomeini Marine Science University of Nowshahr in the academic year 93-94. This research method is descriptive and correlational study. The population included 1340 students of the university and according to the "Morgan" table; the sample was determined 298 students. To collect data, two standard questionnaires, including Emotional Intelligence 33-question Questionnaire (Siberia) and spiritual intelligence 24-question Questionnaire (David King) were used. To determine the reliability the SPSS software (Cronbach's alpha) was used and a reliability of 0.86, showed an acceptable reliability. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. The relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence components include: marine science dimension, the self-management and self-awareness dimensions was also significant. The emotional and spiritual intelligence of the cadets of Imam Khomeini University Ocean Science University was more than average.
