Analyzing the Factors Affecting the Green Supply Chain Management in Logistic Systems

Green supply chain management as a part of environmental management system; enables the organization to make sure the application of environmental considerations in the all process from the supply of raw materials to production and product delivery to the consumer. The objective of this research is to identify and analyze the factors influencing green supply chain to improve the environmental performance of a governmental organization. By applying the survey-interview method, required data was collected from 96 employees. An explorative study is conducted based on 96 personal interviews by questionnaire completion in 6 sections: green procurement, green raw materials, green manufacture, waste management and green transportation. The results of this study showed that the most important factor in the green supply chain, is meeting the environmental regulations in the purchase of machinery, equipment and tools from technical and environmental point of view.
