The Communication process between Satan and man in the Holy Quran

Abstract:
The relationship between man and Satan begins with the birth of a man and continues 'till his death. The correct understanding of this interaction is of great edifying value for the interpersonal relationships at personal, family and society level. Considering its importance, Quran has always tried to improve man's understanding of Satan and its interaction with man. Employing descriptive - analytical method, This article has analyzed the Qurʼanic verses concerning the mutual relationship between man and Devil, based on the communication process and its components, with the aim to clarify this relationship. The most significant results of this study is as follows: elucidating the opposing components of this interaction, its limits, elements and course along the two ends of "istikhlāṣ" and " istiḥwāḍ"; clarifying the nature of Devil's temptation and its features as a deceptive message; clarifying the effective elements of decoding its message by man and suggesting a communication model based on the holy Quran's view.
