The philosophy of test and suffering in Quran and Narratives and its constructive role in human training

Abstract:
This study aimed at exploring the philosophy of test and its constructive role in human education with an emphasis on the Holy Quran and Infallible Imams’ (AS) narratives. Islam gives attention to human’s comprehensive education. Suffering and divine test is a current tradition that is realized through some instruments and tools. This divine tradition is a genetic and practical tradition encompassing the divine popular guidance tradition since it has a direct relationship with responsible creatures such as human being and the degree of his faith to God. In this research, first, an explanation to the concept of suffering, test, sedition, and purification is presented and then, the philosophy and dimensions of test as well as its constructive role in human education are investigated. The research method is descriptive-analytical and theoretical analogy. The results revealed that the divine tests play an important role in creating motivation and development, promotion, sins purgation as well as creating awareness and consciousness for repentance and return to God.
