Introduction
Measure, record and early detection of vital signs of War wounded as well as soldiers with injuries in war, camps and border areas where distances are far away of equipped centers hospital is necessity that can help to reduce casualties. This article examines the extended Kalman filter in eliminate movement and stress noises in ambulances holter monitor.
Methods
Using linearized form of Kalman filter in single channel electrocardiogram (ECG) denoising in holter monitor devices is main target of this article. In this article we using improved model of McSharry to generate synthetic ECG and SNR quantities and the improvement of this quantities to evaluate this article is being used.
Results
Using extended Kalman filter on channel 30 tested data shows improvement in SNR in terms of quantities in the range of 5 to 30 dB.
Conclusion
Research findings show that the Extended Kalman filter is stable due to a significant improvement in SNR quantities in ECG denoising. So this filter can be used in holter monitoring devices in armed forces hospitals, and disaster medicine and ambulances also be used in times of disasters.
