Effectiveness of Hope Education on Academic Liveliness of Secondary School Students

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of hope education on academic vitality of high school students. The present study was a semi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test design with control group. The statistical population of all female high school students in Hamedan during the academic year 1395-1394 was 3800. Thirty individuals were selected randomly and randomly (15 subjects) and control (n = 15). To do the research, firstly, in both groups, the pre-test was performed using Martin and Marsh (2006) Academic vitality questionnaire (2006) and then the experimental group was trained for 8 sessions. Each session lasted 90 minutes each week. After completing the training sessions on the experimental group, both groups under the same conditions were tested. Descriptive statistics including mean and standard deviation and inferential statistics including covariance analysis were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the mean post test of the two experimental and control groups, so that the hope of education on the academic vitality of the female students was effective. Considering the effectiveness of hope education, it can be used to increase the vitality of female students.
