A Glimpse of Educational-Moral Effects of Belief in Resurrection with an Emphasis on Strategies of Creating Belief in Resurrection

The present research uses a descriptive-analytical method to state the educational effects of “belief in resurrection” and explain the basic strategies of creating belief in resurrection. The findings show that, firstly, a belief in resurrection and Judgment Day has many educational, moral, social and familial effects and awakens individuals to make them aware of their moral, social, and familial duties. Secondly, the most important strategies for creating belief in resurrection are creating insight, using allegory and simulation and stories. God Almighty has widely made use of these three strategies in the Holy Quran. Besides, we may use Islamic doctrines to show that the most important factors for creating insight and knowledge in the addressees is establishing a proper verbal and non-verbal relationship with the addressees and the educated individuals, considering individual differences, paying attention to psychological capacities, considering their sex differences, making use of the principle of model and observation education, and making use of sermons. Mentioning Quranic stories on resurrection and explaining Quranic stories such as that of the Companions of the Cave and the like can reinforce the belief in resurrection in the addressees’ mind.
