Assessment of barriers to agricultural land consolidation (Case Study: township Assessment AZNA)

Dispersion and separated of agricultural lands is considered as one of the serious barriers of agriculture development, so that Smallest and distributed of lands is an obstacle in the efficient use of water, land, labor, mechanization and other factors in agriculture production. The main purpose of this article is to study the attitude of farmers towards lands integration and to identify the influenced factors of the adoption of land integration . Statistical society of the study are all potato grower of rurals, city of Azna(N=210), that 150 person are choosen among them by means of random sampling and the size is determinate by Cochran formula and the data were collected through questionnaires, that the apparent and content validity of the questionnaire,was confirmed according to professors at University of Tehran and its reliability was confirmed based on Cronbach's alpha (77%). For data analysis SPSS statistical software is used. The findings revealed that the farmers have a low intention to integration of their lands and on condition that they integrated our lands temporary prefer to participate with familiar and family individual. There is a significant positive relationship between education, average cost, number of pieces of land, interest in team working, familiarity with integration plan, attitude towards integration of land, the rate of confidence to governmental programs, the rate of confidence to other farmers and intend to integration lands. Also there is a significant negative relationship between agricultural experience, the rate of production, the rate of lands, size average of lands and intend to integration lands and the main of barriers for lands integration were individual –social and economic factors.
