Changing in the concepts of knowledge: Needs to change of Ontology

Abstract:
The sheer mass of knowledge available today, however, requires sophisticated support for searching and, often considered as equally important, rationalization. Ontology and metadata technology is one approach for addressing such challenges. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of ontologies evolution. Due to change in concepts, it is necessary to review the structure of ontologies and tools for organizing and representing this knowledge. Ontologies, to be effective, need to change as fast as the parts of the world they describe.
Method
The study reviewed all of the literature, concepts, principles and rules about ontologies. Thus, this research is descriptive and analytical.
Results
The results showed six stages in the development of ontologies. As a result, a logical architecture introduced to support the development of ontologies.
Conclusion
the low-effort of users in digital libraries and automatic support for change management, are very important for ontologes. That should be considered by engineers when they are designing the ontologies.
