Effect of Play Therapy on the Short-Term Memory Disability Educable Children

The aim of this study was to compare the effect of individual and team plays on attention and short-term memory of educable mentally retarded children. Therefore, 36 mentally retarded students of Andishe Special School of Qazvin province were selected using convenience sampling method. Students’ chronological age range was between 8 and 15 years, their mental age was between 7 and 10 years with IQ of 50 to 70.
