The Role of Islamic Revolution's discourse in the Building up of the Soft Power of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract:
The discourse of the Islamic Revolution has long existed in the ideas and ideals of the great scholars of Islam and Shiite, but after the formation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the opportunity has come for it to be appeared and manifested down. The main objective of this research is to determine the role of the Islamic Revolution's discourse in building up the soft power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Therefore, with this aim, the main question we respond is: "What is the role of the discourse of the Islamic Revolution in building up the soft power component of the Islamic Republic of Iran?" The method of this research is descriptive-analytical survey. Using descriptive test and inferential statistics such as Friedman variance analysis test, mono sample T test and binomial explanation were analyzed. Method tool for collecting data were done by referring to the experts, completing the questionnaire, conducting interviews, collecting reliable sources from the specialized library of the NDU and referring to the sites related to the subject. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by two aspects of appearance and content for its clear and unambiguous terms, as well as the adequacy of their quantity and quality confirmed by experts, clear-sighted and professors of university. Factor analysis was used for construct its validity. In this study, a preliminary prototype was first used to calculate the reliability or internal coordination of the instrument that measures the various characteristics. The confidence coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach's alpha method of 0.5. The type of research based on its goals is the developmental-applied one.
The statistical population of this research consisted of: experts, professors and experts in the field of national security and in Islamic culture and revolution. In the end, the results of the acceptance of the divine rule (despotic rule) of the faghih, among other discourses, indicate that this a factor has had the most impact on the soft power of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
