Delgosha and Its Shahname-based Allusions

Abstract:
Delgosha book is a poem composed by its poet in 8th century. In this work poet composes history of Shabankare' kings from the first to beginning of Mongol invasion. At the beginning of composing this poem, he claimed that he saw Ferdowsi in dream who advised him to compose history of his age king to be famous in this way. So he composed "king's fate" and as he calls Ferdowsi as his leader, he not only remembers Ferdowsi in his work but also comics his poetry style. Having a deep view in Ferdowsi's Shahname caused to point Shahname's heroes and their fates or compared his praised persons with Shahname's kings and heroes. Studying Shahnameh-based allusions of Delgosha book is a subject studied in this paper.
