The Role and function of mass media in the sense of social security of citizens in Tehran

The purpose of this research The Role of mass media in the sense of social security of citizens in Tehran . The study population consisted of all citizens over 18 years old in Tehran Which uses a Kerjeisi & Morgan sample size table, were 384 citizens were selected by random sampling Applied research method is used in this survey. A researcher-made questionnaire was user to collect the required data. . In order to validate the instrument, appropriate questions related to each variable were extracted from valid sources and finally approved by authorities. In order to calculate the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach’s alpha was calculated to be 84%.And to test the hypotheses, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression was used, The results of the research showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between the use of television and social security feeling (p
