Author(s):
Abstract:
Public diplomacy has drawn much attention in foreign policy in recent decades. This importance is duplicated for states which have regional or global role or are in search of it. Turkey has focused extensively on this kind of diplomacy using its notable capacities. This paper studied Turkish public diplomacy regarding recent events in the Middle East using Nicholas J. Cull’s analytical model. It should be said that Turkish public diplomacy has flourished due to its huge expenses, rational strategy and firm policy healing its international posture damaged by internal disputes which could have led to inefficient foreign policy. Nature of this paper was qualitative and with its descriptive approach, both English and Persian theoretical and experimental resources and interviews with experts were reviewed to cover the subject.
