The Situation of Social Development Indicators in Markazi Province (Regarding Inverse Optimization Method (IOM))

Abstract:
The subject of this study is social development and itspurpose is to investigate the situation of social development indicators in Markazi Province. Social development represents the quality of social system through institutionalizing "development ethics" in order to promote "social equality" and "social security". The research method is descriptive survey. The research data were weighted by using Inverse Optimization Method (IOM) and were shown in GIS environment. Statistical population includes dwellers aged 15 years and overof both urban and rural areas of Markazi province. A sample of 1300 people was selected using stratified random sampling method.Technique of data collection was self-made questionnaire with 134 questions which its content validity was confirmed and its reliability was determined by caculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient in pre-test step. The findings imply that the situation of social development indicators in Markazi Province varies between lower-medium and upper-medium.
