Determining of Sustainable Behavior Ranchers in Galikesh Township by Food Security Approaches

This study aimed determining of sustainable behavior ranchers in Galikesh Township by food security approaches. The research method was descriptive – correlationa which has done through a survey. The research population was ranchers in township (N= 2000). Sample size was determine by using Kerjice and Morgan’s (1970) table (n= 234). Samples were selected through simple random sampling method. Data was collected through an instrument that developed by researcher. The validity of instrument estimated by a panel of faculty members in Tarbiat Modares University. Reliability of the questionnaire was determine by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient (0.76 ≥ α ≥ 0.87), which show the instrument suitable for data gathering. Data were analyzed using SPSS software package. Research findings show that there is a significant relation between ranchers sustainable behavior and numbers of control behavior penetrate, mental norm, knowledge attitude and emotional attitude. Also results of stepwize regration show that 58.9 percent of sustainable behavior of ranchers in galikesh was determine by five variables consist of notion, penetrate behavior control, mental norm, knowledge attitude and emotional attitude.
