Analyzing of SPTED mechanisms affecting security and crime reduction in the urban worn-out texture (Case study: worn-out texture in central part of the Zanjan city)

prevention of crime is an issue that people are involved with it for centuries. Prohibition of crime is a necessary for life reform of people in todays world. Security is a concept which has great impact on satisfaction levels of households and residents displacement from their residential neighborhoods. the purpose of this study was to understand the factors affecting security in the worn-out texture in central part of the Zanjan city. Because the problem of security in the worn-out texture in Zanjan city due to some issues like microlithic, high population density, presence of travel absorbent applications faced with a a challenge. The research in nature is descriptive-analytical. therefore, in order to prioritize the elements affecting the security of worn-out texture in Zanjan city was used structural equation(Lisrel). the results showed that the security of the worn-out texture in Zanjan city is affected by the mechanisms of management and maintenance of space, physical security environment, image space, natural and line of sight surveillance and access control.
