Role of the predicted Personal Growth Initiative in the Adjustment of Blind Students

Abstract:
Objective
The aim of this research role of the predicted personal growth initiative in the adjustment of blind students.
Materials And Methods
Participants in the study were 120 blind students who were selected through convenience sampling. and personal growth initiative questionnaire Robitschek (1998) Youth Adjustment Inventory (AISS) Sinha & Sing (1993) was completed with the help of Questioner.
Results
Results showed that there is a relationship between personal growth initiative with adjustment of students. also as a result of regression analysis between personal growth initiative with adjustment of students, F statistic value obtained is equal to 49/46. that in level (p≤ 0.01) were significant and standardized regression coefficient (Beta) for each personal growth initiative components with adjustment of students this was: Readiness for change equal to -2.218, Planning equal to -3.420, Use of resources equal to -3.727 and for Targeted treatment equal to 0.010. so the value of t-statistics obtained of all components, except for targeted behavior, were significant.
Conclusion
According to the findings, personal growth initiative significantly able to predict the adjustment of students. also each of the components of personal growth initiative, except for targeted behavior, able to predict the adjustment of blind students.
