The effectiveness of narrative therapy on the efficacy and achievement motivation of secondary school students in Olia Jarquye

This study examined the effectiveness of narrative therapy on self-efficiency and achievement motivation in high school male students in the second period at Olia Jarquye.The study was semiexperimental that include experimental and control groups.the study community include all high school male students in the second period at Olia jarquye area. in educational year 2015-2016.40 students were selected by random sampling method then divided into experimental and control group by random assignment method. The hypothesis of study was effectiveness of narrative therapy on self-efficiency and achievement motivation in high school male students in the second period at Olia Jarquye area. The tool of research included a questionnaire the self-effiency and achievement motivation was Hermnes 1970and Sherer 1982. The independent variable (narrative therapy)was applied on experimental group in seven 45 -minute sessions. There are scores of post-test experimental and control groups. The results showed between narrative therapy and self-efficacy (dimensions desire to initiate, expand efforts to advance) at Olia Jarquye area secondary school students, and self-efficacy score was higher in the experimental group compared to the control group.
