Analyzing possibility of leisure space travel production in metropolis of Ahvaz

Today spending leisure time has been become a basic need for current human. Leisure activities from part of human activities and it is jointed to national economy and Leisure geography studies the relationship between human with environment in free time. Preliminary leisure programming include identifying facilities and current situation of leisure time in a city. During recent decades, by basic change in urbanization and work concept, how to spend leisure time has been become a necessary need for human societies and an important occupation for social manager and planner, so that in new zoning regulations, establishing leisure space is accepted as a Main land in a city. The current study is practical in an aim and descriptive– analytical in method and practical– theoretical in nature. In this study, it is tried to predict possibility of travel to leisure space with space distribution in Ahvaz by probabilities model of Huff in Arc Gis software environment. The Huff model popularity and longevity can be attributed to its conceptual appeal, relative ease of use, and applicability to a wide range of problems, of which predicting consumer spatial behavior is the most commonly known. This study with use of the huff model responding to this question: What is the probability that a citizen will decide to going to a particular leisure space, given the How distribute leisure facilities at town? the result indicate non- balance in leisure facilities distribution in a city; this issue lead to non– balance in a city; and from this view, citizens leisure behavior in regions level, is a function from how these land are distributed. Finding show that green space , leisure- social, and sport leisure lands with the highest possibility of travel and recreative and educational– leisure land have less attraction, respectively ;and finally, horistical lands have the least possibility of travel. Ahvaz even without special condition in industrial and cities, has been faced by lack of leisure space. Therefor there basic scientific and practical research will be perfomed for policy making and programing to improve and enhance the existing (current) situation and conscious management of this space.
