Typology of the Sadiqayn's Exegetical Traditions in the Commentary of Al-Durr al-Mansūr by al-Suyūtī

Jalal al-Din Muhammad bin Abu Bakr al-Suyūtī, one of the Sunni commentators in the tenth century AH, has compiled its Interpretation of Quran Sequentially from the beginning to the end. Since he has no criticism about traditions used in his book, it seams that he has approved all of them. Suyūtī has narrated many traditions from several narrators including the Innocent Imams (pbuth), although the number of Ahlolbayt's traditions is less than the others. In this book, about 650 traditions from Shia Imams has been quoted, of which 97 ones belong to Sādiqayn (p.b.u.th). This paper examines the typology of Sādiqayn's exegetical traditions quoted in the commentary of al-Durr al-Manthur.
