The Role of Islamic and Indian Mysticism in Human's Coexistence

Today, the role of dialogue of religions and cultures is vital for providing necessary basis of coexistence and consultation between people. This dialogue can be done on the common matters such as the human nature, his place in the world, his relation to God, world and others, his social and individual life, and his end of life. In this regard, Islamic mysticism by the spiritual teachings of Islam, and Indian mysticism by too much emphasis on the importance of human spiritual life, and the necessity of human ideal sublimity can give nearly similar and more effective guidelines. Therefore, the dialogue of the Islamic and Indian mysticism, in spite of some different attitudes, gives access to a common justified understanding of man and his spiritual life. Some aspects of this common understanding will be considered in this article.
