Effectiveness of education based on Pygmalion effect for instructors on self image and satisfaction of school in students having dictation learning disorder

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of education based on the effect of pygmalion on teachers on self-concept and school satisfaction of students with spelling learning disorder. The present study was a semi-experimental (pre-test-post-test with control group). The statistical population of the study included all students with spelling learning disorder in Isfahan city during the academic year of 2012-13. Among them, 30 students with spelling learning disorder were selected through multistage cluster sampling method and was assigned in experimental, Control groups (15 students in the experimental group and 15 students in the control group). The instrument used was self-concept questionnaire, life satisfaction, spelling abnormal test and Wechsler's IQ test. Data were analyzed by SPSS-23 software at two levels of descriptive (mean, standard deviation) and inferential (multivariate covariance analysis).
