Evaluation of subject areas, Translated Books in the area of Gender, Women and Family in Iran

Abstract:
Purpose
The purpose of this study was to study the general status of translated books of women and family based on variables such as general and minor issues, language, author, country of publication, type of activity and gender of translators and authors, and activities of domestic publishers throughout the country.
Method
In this study, the bibliometric method has been used.
Findings: The findings of the research show that the most translated books in the field of women and family are conducted in the field of marital relations, psychology and family relations, and 45. 3% is the result of women's individual activity. 88. 1% of the books have been translated into English and most of the translated books belong to the United States and England.
Conclusion
The evolution of western studies in the field of women and family studies in Western countries has affected the changes that have taken place in Iran in translating books and attracted the attention of translators.
