Abstract:
Caused by bad fate or anything else too few moments of independence and tranquility had been there to the Armenians. It is quite enigmatic, however, that, as a class-divided society with limited population and land resource to handle any political and economic affair, and of course a kinship and tradition under incessant attack, they maintained their political role. To look through the Structuration Theory and its complementary historical sociology indicates that dissemination along time-space is the sphere where one should look for answer. The outlook makes clear that a historical departure from an excessive reliance on time-space bounded allocative resources (such as landlord, armed force, and …) toward authorative resource (like legislation, divinity, and …) and those allocative ones which easily transcend time-space (endowment, money and …) secured the survival of the Armenian side of the politic.
