Reviewing Strategies of Enhancement of Islamic Republic of Iran's Soft Power Based on Religious Boards

Based on its structure, Islamic Republic of Iran’s regime encompasses various components of soft power. Religious boards make an important component having different cultural, religious, political, social, economic, military and artful functions. To enhance Islamic Republic of Iran’s soft power, this paper tries to introduce the functions of the religious boards by presenting some strategies and pays attention to their vulnerabilities as well. The method used in this paper is analytical and descriptive with an applied form. Elites, authorities, faculty members, and practitioners (eulogists, lecturers, and those in charge of the boards) make up the statistical society of this research. A 60-person statistical sample, was chosen on the basis of purposeful sampling. Research findings were measured by SPSS software, statistical techniques and TOWS method. Situation assessment matrix of these boards (space diagram) shows weak attacks and this situation will be awfully worse in the next five years. Strategies presented here were divided into two groups having first and second preferences. The results show that, in order to enhance the Islamic Republic of Iran’s soft power through the religious boards, their functions must be strengthened by paying attention to the contents of the mourning, training the eulogists, lecturers and those involved in, and using foreign environment as well. We can encounter vulnerabilities, distortions, and foreign threats by explaining them to those in charge of these boards.
