Library and archives: introducing and reviewing the book of libraries and archives: a comparative study

The present writing introduces and criticizes the translation of the book entitled “Libraries and Archives: A Comparative Study”. One of the main reasons for the importance of this book –which has been organized in six chapters - returns to the work experience of the author. In addition to the experience of working in the National Archives and National Library of Swedish and management experiences, he has collaborated with national and international archives and library organizations and institutions. All of this has led the author to compare archives and libraries not only as a researcher but also as a dedicated expert; alongside presenting a history of the establishment of archives and libraries and their evolution and development (emphasizing on European societies), he has revealed the differences between these two institutions during the history of their evolution by a focus on their future.
