The Role of the Affective and Emotional Composite Temperament (AFECT) Model in Predicting the Symptoms of Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) in Students

Affective and Emotional Composite Temperament (AFECT) model Poses a combination of affective and emotional temperament structures with clinical applications, psychological- biological and treatment of mental disorders. The aim of current study was to investigate the role of the AFECT model in predicting the symptoms of social anxiety disorder (SAD) in students.
In a descriptive correlational investigation, all students studying in the academic year 2013-2014 at Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University were included in statistical population, of which 400 were selected using stratified cluster sampling method. Selected students were assessed using scale combined with emotional temperament and the Fear Savory Scale-I­I­I questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis by Spss-16 and Lisrel-8.5.
