The boundaries of the Biladshapur area in the Islamic period

Biladshapur area was one of the imporatnt province of Ghobadkhore, Arrajan, that considered as one of major Fars states in the sassanid and Islamic period. This area, from the Sassanid period, due to the construction of a city in it by Shapur I, was called "Biladashapur" and until the Qajar period, remained an important region with the same name. The purpose of this research is to identify the boundary changes of the Biladshapur area in the pre-Islamic and islamic periods. By descriptive –analytical method Field systematic Study, this research tries to answer and looking for the following question:What changes have the political and geographical boundaries of the BiladShapur region undergone from the early Islamic centuries to the Qajar period? The results show that the location and boundaries of the Biladshapur area was not constant in these centuries and several times have been shifted between the Fars states and districts.
