The Role of Organizational Trust in Increasing Employee's Psychological Empowerment (Tax Affairs of the Province of Guilan)

Abstract:
The environmental challenges of the present age, has forced the organizations to search the ways to preserve their Survival in order to respond to environmental changes. So, they need to more Empowerment employees. One of the underlying factors that can play an important role in empowering employees is the organizational trust. Thomas and Velthouse (1990) suggested that empowerment not only results from individuals’ assessments of their work tasks, but also depends on contextual factors such as employees, interactions with their superiors, peers, and subordinates. In this regard, this study is about The Role of organizational trust in increasing employees Psychological Empowerment. The research statistical society is Employees of tax affairs of the province of Gilan.The number of statistical society are 730 persons and the size of sample are 155. In this study, two-stage cluster sampling is used. Necessary data is collected by using the questionnaire and were analyzed by Pearson statistical and multiple Regression statistical technique. The results of research indicate that from three component of Organizational trust, at first the lateral trust and then institutional trust have the meaningful role in explaining of employee's Psychological Empowerment that altogether their role were 35 percentages. The result of research with using of multiple regression indicatethat vertical trust have not the meaningful role in explaining of employee's Psychological Empowerment.
