The Pattern of Operational Strategy Selection in International Market for Entrepreneurial Businesses

Operational strategy selection in the global markets is facing numerous complexities due to the conditions governing the international business environment. Current study tries to explain the strategy selection in international business environment through a process pattern. In order to achieve this goal, international paradigm, business network, competitive intelligence, business capabilities, strategic orientation, entry mode to international markets, knowledge and awareness of international business environment, products life cycle and environmental obligations were chosen through literature review, and then their interaction, and also relationship of them with strategy selection were assessed by ISM. The data gathered from eighteen experts of university and industry that was chosen by goal oriented sampling method. The final pattern of study is explaining the process and content of international strategy selection; show the direct relationship between strategy selection and strategic orientation, business capabilities and competitive intelligence; as well as indirect relationship between strategy selection and other remaining parameters.
