Usage of Iranian Users of National and International Search Engines

the aim of this study is to review familiarity and Usage of Iranian Users of National and International Search Engines (General and Specialty).
this is a descriptive survey and is aimed at addressing the descriptive and deductive questions. The statistical population includes A.A. to Ph.D. students from different courses of study. Data was gathered based on researcher constructed list and data analysis was performed through E-questionnaire.
Findings: The findings of this study revealed that more than two thirds of Iranian users had no familiarity with Iranian search engines. Iranian users’ familiarity internationally known search engines was based on a different spectrum that means Iranian users utilize international search engines more than that of domestic ones.
